This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Paragon Cyber Advisory Ltd has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.
Our Business
Paragon Cyber Advisory Ltd is a UK-based cybersecurity and AI governance consultancy registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14729031). We provide professional services to businesses and organisations. Our workforce is entirely office and home-based, consisting of skilled professionals engaged under standard employment or contractor arrangements governed by UK employment law.
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains consist primarily of:
- Professional services suppliers (legal, accounting, recruitment)
- Technology and software vendors (cloud hosting, security tooling, productivity software)
- Specialist subcontractors engaged for specific technical engagements
Given the nature of our business, we consider our exposure to modern slavery risk to be low. Our suppliers are predominantly established UK and EU-based professional services firms subject to equivalent legal obligations.
Our Policies
We maintain the following policies relevant to modern slavery:
- Code of Conduct: All employees and contractors are required to uphold our Code of Conduct, which includes zero tolerance for forced labour or human trafficking.
- Supplier Code of Conduct: We require all suppliers to confirm compliance with applicable employment laws and, where relevant, the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
- Whistleblowing Policy: We maintain a confidential whistleblowing channel for reporting concerns about modern slavery or any other ethical violations.
- Recruitment Policy: All recruitment is conducted through legitimate channels. We verify the right to work of all employees in accordance with UK law.
Due Diligence
We conduct due diligence on new suppliers proportionate to the assessed risk. This includes reviewing publicly available information, requesting supplier self-assessments where appropriate, and favouring suppliers who are signatories to recognised industry codes or hold relevant certifications.
Training & Awareness
Relevant staff receive training on identifying indicators of modern slavery and human trafficking and the process for escalating concerns. This training is reviewed annually.
This Statement
This statement covers the financial year ending 31 December 2024 and was approved by the Board of Paragon Cyber Advisory Ltd. It will be reviewed and updated annually.
